Not To Hurt Anyone
Indian Film Industry churns out over 80000 flicks a year. 99.99% of the movies have spicy song and dance numbers, there biggest seller. But with such a prolific turnover it's to keep up with the creative work and a lot of movies turn out to be 'inspired by' Hollywood, without ever crediting their source. That's a movie I like to Chart Here.

Ek Chhoti si Love Story From of Malèna
Let's set one thing straight first: No matter how good Manisha Koirala's ass looks on the silver screen, it's really no match for Monica Bellucci's ass. Period.
Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin
Mahesh Bhatt's "Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin" in the early 1990s was a frame-by-frame copy of "It Happened One Night" (1934).The difference lay in seeing Amir Khan instead of Clarke Gable and Pooja Bhatt in the place of Claudette Colbert in situations that were more or less Indian.
Breaking Away From Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar
Karz
From
The Reincarnation of Peter Proud
Both movies follow a similar plot line of a young man's journey to the top, all the while alienting himself from those that love him and manipulating everyone else.

Lagaan Inspired from Victory
Ok, before you start flaming this entry like some have done to "Black", let me say that "Lagaan" was a great movie and it really deserved the Oscar nod. And, we believe that Aamir Khan is one of the most talented people in Bollywood. But...
Lagaan has the "same story and same feel of Sly Stallone movie 'Victory'." Both follow a match between two sides: the oppressors and the oppressed. "Lagaan" follows a cricket match and how the local Indian villagers learn to play a totally foreign sport while in "Victory" French POWs scheme to escape from an Axis prison using their Soccer match with a Naxi team as a cover. Pankaz notes that Lagaan is "very highly inspired, with added masala of cricket."
I strongly feel that it is time that Bollywood and the rest of Indian cinema begin to look at European or other Asian films for inspiration.
France, Italy, Spain, Japan, China and Iran are creating mesmerising cinema that is hauntingly unconventional and gripping even to the greatest critic who are used to the Hollywood pace and style.
Well who can 4get Partner the biggest hit of the year....
a simple copy 4m hitch of willsmith...where sallu has replaced the willsmith....well i see the future as copy hollywood...rather than the unique bollywood...
lemme put in a correction; ek choti si love story owes much to Keislovisky's famous "a short film about love" shot by shot...check it out...
